The Mortgage Source is an independent mortgage brokerage in Yorkville, Illinois, founded by Brent Norman. We finance rental property for real estate investors: long-term and short-term rentals, small multifamily, flips and BRRRR deals. The common thread is that we underwrite the asset rather than your tax returns.

Since January 2025 we have funded more than $87 million across 340-plus investor loans, closing in 22 days on average and as fast as ten. Most of that is DSCR, where the rent carries the loan and there is no personal debt-to-income test, no employment verification, and no tax returns.
